Macro Eclipse by NW designs

From the start of this commission the clients wanted a warm and welcoming bed with gentle curves and a hard wearing tactile finish.

The laminated beams gently arch across the head and foot of the bed.  Each eclipse was cut from individual pieces of timber to aid in matching the patterns of the grain.  The end and side rails have a carved arch which “lifts” the bed, adding the illusion of lightness to the sturdy frame.
