Go Game Table

The ancient Chinese board game called Go is becoming increasingly popular in the west and playing tables provide an opportunity to showcase New Zealand native timbers.

Kahikatea has been offset with Matai on the legs and the sound box is from heart Rimu.  A black grid has been screen printed onto the Matai playing surface.

The strong lines and bold curve of the legs draw you to this feature table that begs to be played and enjoyed.

Note: this board game can be modified to suit other games like chess or backgammon.
